The basic interface for the conference bridge management is a WWW application. This approach has helped to avoid the necessity of installing additional applications for the system managers. It has also created the possibility of making basic functions of the bridge management available to the people who take part in the conferences only occasionally. The scope of activities that may be performed by a given person depends on the level of granted entitlements. 

During the conference the system enables to accept the commands issued by the conference moderator by means of DTMF codes.

The commands available through DTMF codes:

• Mute all participants of the conference (except for the moderator)
  
  
• Restore all participants to the conference
  
  
• Mute a selected participant after presenting his/her phone number
  
  
• Restore a selected participant to the conference
  
  
• Add a new participant to the conference
  
  
• Disconnect a selected participant of the conference
  
  
• Extend the time of conference – the system informs moderator about the maximum time to which the conference can be extended (after analysing the available telecommunications resources).
  
  
• Start recording of the conference
  
  
• Stop recording of the conference

After each command the system provides the moderator with voice information regarding the status of executed command.

Configuration

Contactis Conference can be easily integrated with telecommunications infrastructure used by the company. System is ready to operate after its connection to the telephone exchange with one or two digital lines and establishing appropriate phone numbers under which it will be available.
